  1. Team RSLRA says:

    Its dirty!

  2. MrVanWay says:

The people! Rally is the only sport that I have ever witnessed rivals helping out anyway they can. Every other type of competition I have ever been involved with seems to bring out the worst in people. Rally is great competition with great people.

  3. T. Slingerland says:

Rally, the noise, the smell, the speed… It rocks the earth firmly, as if the big bang has only just begun.

  4. Drew Shower says:

I love Rally, because it is the most skilled driving out there. It’s the most challenging, and the most fun to watch. Who doesnt love high HP cars flying down a gravel road, with a rooster tail 6 foot high, drifting around the bends!

    Forever Rally.

  5. Shaun Breiland says:

There are two things: 1 – the pure, raw action of rally: dirt flying, cars leaping through the air that are not meant to fly like they do, people standing just feet from the action with no guard rail between them and the cars. The action is just unlike anything else.
2 – the approachability of literally everyone involved in rally at all levels. My first time spectating Ojibwe, I was surprised when I saw Travis Pastrana, and instead of me waiting in line to talk to him, he approached ME. Other legends of rally, like Tanner, Matthew Johnson, Ken, Iorio, and Pinker were the friendliest of people, and extremely approachable. Where else do you get that?

  6. Tim Knorr says:

I love rally because of the insanity! As a current co-driver it’s just crazy to crawl into a car and let some strung out under rested over caffienated speed freak called a “driver” careen you through the woods at over 100mph with your best defense being a peice of paper with directions written on it! Well that of course and giggling. Real men do it in the woods!

  7. TP @ Function Autosport says:

The unpredictability and having to adapt to whatever happens all while trying to never lift the right foot!

  8. thebionicman says:

Because its you versus nature. No other cars to deal with (most of the time), no other idoits on the road, just you and the road as fast as you can go!

  9. Warren says:

I don’t know if I could ever fully explain why I love rally because believe me I’ve tried to my family, girlfriend, friends, co-workers, etc…. but I’ll give it a try anyway…
I love rally because it involves pushing yourself past your limits. It involves blood sweat, and some tears. It is what keeps me up in the middle of the night. I’ve always kinda seen my car as an extension of me, and rally is the ultimate proving ground of man and machine. I love the unknown, and the unexpected part of rally.
Plus, the smell of race fuel after a car flies by is like a mixture of candy and death. I love it.

  10. Ed Stockline says:

When you put together the most skill demanding, heartpumping, adrenaline inducing motorsport on the planet, mix it with a great fanbase and awesome people that put it all together, in one weekend you get….. Rally. In my opinion theres no better experience than getting out in the woods, getting dirty and dusty, wet and frozen to get a piece of memory that is instantly hardwired into your long term memory.

  11. Matt Tabor says:

I love rally from many different sides; as a entrepreneur, I love that, when people call up, it is so they can further their passion for success in the sport; as an organizer, for the exuberance and appreciativeness that the competitors take on the challenge of what our committee has laid before them; and as a competitor, the shear, raw excitement of racing where most people won’t, among other competitors who, while trying to finish ahead of you, won’t hesitate to lend a helping hand. It’s a great family environment from all sides, of the purest forms of motorsport.

  12. Momo says:

I love Rally because I am really into cars and Rally cars and their fans, especially one in particular, are the best! No where else can you go and stand in the woods for hours waiting for cars to appear. Those manifold hot dogs can’t be beat.

  13. scofa says:

i love rally because it’s the most fun i have ever had in a car, also when not competing it’s awesome to photograph

  14. luc st-laurent says:

i’m a codriver and juste the noise that make the gravel that bank the floorboard its a incredible noise
and the volouteer are great people who come in the woods just so that we can play in the dirt
